Lindahl Reed was awarded a 5-year blanket purchase agreement (BPA) by the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Services (PBS), Region 10,  to support high performance sustainable buildings and other sustainability requirements across the portfolio of federal buildings in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. GSA Region 10’s high performance sustainable buildings program is a key component of GSA’s commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from existing buildings.

Lindahl Reed support for the development and certification of high performance sustainable buildings includes: energy, environmental, and sustainability technical support; policy and operational analysis; and, strategic planning and guidance.  This includes specialized services to help GSA complete individual building Guiding Principles certification or revalidation, and to perform specific energy, water, and engineering studies to document building performance. We will use our knowledge of GSA Guiding Principles compliance and certification requirements to help GSA build and maintain a portfolio of high performance buildings.

“Lindahl Reed’s leadership team has supported GSA Region 10’s energy and sustainability requirements since 2010 and is excited to continue to support GSA’s Guiding Principles and GHG reduction initiatives,” said Nicole R Hough, Lindahl Reed’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We offer deep knowledge and insights in high performance buildings and understand the importance of this work to reduce GHG emissions and the impacts of climate change.”
