Lindahl Reed is pleased to announce it has been awarded a five-year contract by the Department of Justice (DOJ), United States Attorney’s Office (USAO), Middle District of Georgia, to provide health care fraud investigative services. Lindahl Reed will work with Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) and other federal and state or local agencies responsible for programs supported by federal funding. This includes collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), the Department of Labor (DOL), the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), and other organizations. Lindahl Reed will provide a full range of investigative services including gathering evidence through data research, interviews of witnesses, coordinating surveillance, and providing assessments and recommendations to assist with building proof necessary for successful litigation.
Lindahl Reed provides services and solutions in the development, operation and oversight of effective health care corporate compliance programs, including supporting and conducting investigations pertaining to compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to fraud, waste, and abuse. In addition, Lindahl Reed and our team members have extensive experience implementing and supporting health care privacy programs and risk management programs, as well as collaborating with legal teams and law enforcement. We bring expertise in rules and regulations such as the Federal False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Physician Self-Referral (“Stark”) Law.
