Lindahl Reed was awarded a five (5) year contract with NWS Southern Region Headquarters, Systems Operations Division (SOD), in Fort Worth, Texas, to provide oversight of real and personal property management, recordkeeping, and logistics services. This includes professional and administrative functions at the SOD involving budget support, acquisition support, and property support. NWS provides weather, hydrologic, and climate forecasts and warnings for the United States, its territories, adjacent waters and ocean areas, for the protection of life and property and the enhancement of the national economy. The work includes all NWS Southern Region portfolios with emphasis on serving the needs of the National Weather Service to facilitate optimal mission delivery.
