This winter, Lindahl Reed and employees led a holiday food drive to aid the San Diego Food Bank. The San Diego Food Bank serves over 400,000 people per month and utilizes corporate and non-profit partnerships to help redistribute over 44 million pounds of food annually.
Through participating in their annual food drive, Lindahl Reed employees based in San Diego collected 567 pounds of canned and dried food that were donated to in-need individuals and families across San Diego County.
Lindahl Reed partnered with the Cambridge Terrace community and the Glide Training Company to help in this donation. Lindahl Reed understands the hunger crisis to be inextricably connected to climate change, as the socioeconomic and geographic barriers which prevent access to nutritious food are linked and perpetuated by the climate crisis. We are proud of the collaborative effort and plan on making this an annual holiday event. The power of human kindness and compassion never ceases to amaze when people are provided an opportunity to help others.
