Lindahl Reed is pleased to announce that Mark Walsh has joined Lindahl Reed as an Advisor to the Board of Directors. Mr. Walsh brings more than 35 years of experience in business and operational leadership for publicly traded and private government consulting firms where he led and supported organizational leadership and growth, strategic planning and management, and mission execution. Mr. Walsh provides guidance and direction to the company’s Board of Directors and leadership team to support Lindahl Reed’s continued growth and development. His broad-based technical and geographic expertise covers federal, state, local, private, and international customers, including the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, United States Agency for International Development, and numerous state and local agencies.
Prior to joining Lindahl Reed, Mr. Walsh was the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Redhorse Corporation. Mr. Walsh oversaw customer, employee, and organizational requirements, and the delivery of professional services across energy, environmental, information technology, and national security markets. During his tenure at Redhorse, he helped to lead the growth of the company to more than 350 employees and $80 million in annual revenue.
Prior to joining Redhorse, Mr. Walsh’s professional experience included a 20 year career with Tetra Tech Inc. and its subsidiaries, serving in a variety of leadership roles He was a Corporate Officer for 5 years and was President of Tetra Tech’s Technical Environmental Services Group, a $197 million business unit. In this role, he led two wholly-owned subsidiaries composed of 1,400 employees and 54 domestic and international offices. Mr. Walsh joined Tetra Tech in 1995 when it acquired the PRC EM Inc. operating unit, where he had been employed since 1987 and served as information systems manager, office manager, and operating unit President for 6 years.
During that time, he helped grow the company to more than 1,000 employees and $135 million in annual revenue. Previously, he was a senior consultant at Booz, Allen and Hamilton, Inc., where he served as a consultant to government agencies.
Mr. Walsh holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Resource Management and a Masters in Public Administration from The Pennsylvania State University.
