WASHINGTON, DC, October 9, 2024 — Lindahl Reed, Inc. (Lindahl Reed), a leading provider of technical, scientific, and engineering services to the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Energy, and other federal agencies, has been awarded a contract by the Air Force Sustainment Center, Air Force Materiel Command, to provide an Asset Management (AM) framework to inform senior leaders of the best resources and investment decision making to meet Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) goals for Organic Industrial Base (OIB) infrastructure modernization.
Under this contract, Lindahl Reed provides asset management and planning expertise to the OIB planning cell to support the development of resource and investment decision making capabilities. This includes analysis and assessment of OIB infrastructure trends, workload, governance, risks, opportunities for improvement, and implementation strategies. Lindahl Reed will use ISO 55000 – Asset Management System standards as the framework to augment OIB’s asset management capabilities and comply with Office of Management and Budget (OMB), DoD, and Air Force policy.
