Lindahl Reed Inc. (Lindahl Reed) is pleased to announce that Chris Lippert has joined Lindahl Reed as Vice President of Energy Services. With more than 20 years of energy consulting and business experience within the federal government consulting industry, Chris brings extensive experience supporting and developing world-class energy programs for the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. He has been responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, and for building long-term customer relationships across multiple federal agencies. He is a Federal energy management expert and excels at strategic planning, energy program development, and implementation of energy resilience and demand response solutions at the Headquarters, Regional, and installation/facility level. He brings a deep understanding of customer requirements and market drivers, and successfully delivers integrated solutions to operational, compliance, and business challenges.
At Lindahl Reed, Chris will be responsible for growth across Lindahl Reed’s rapidly expanding energy practice. Chris will lead strategic planning, opportunity identification, partnership and team development, customer relationships, capture of new opportunities, and execution of contracts. He will provide operational oversight, and development and execution of the strategic direction of Lindahl Reed’s energy practice.
Prior to joining Lindahl Reed, Chris spent nine years as the Federal Business Development Lead for NORESCO, one of the top energy service companies in the United States. In that role, Chris was responsible for strategic planning, customer relations development, and business growth across all federal agencies. He maintained toplevel relationships with senior leadership within federal agencies and represented NORESCO across multiple trade associations and national conferences. During his tenure at NORESCO, he was instrumental in helping to develop more than $500 million in new business with the Air Force, Army, Navy, VA, GSA, FAA, and other customers. Prior to joining NORESCO, Chris’ professional experience included a 12 year career with Tetra Tech Inc., serving in variety of leadership roles, including as the Energy Efficiency Corporate Initiative Leader, where he was responsible for coordinating business development in the energy efficiency sector across all operating units. He managed 27 energy management programs in Japan, Guam, Alaska, Florida, Hawaii, Texas, and Virginia. These programs were supported by 50 Tetra Tech staff, and were responsible for managing $300 million in annual utility budgets and energy project portfolios of $400 million.
Chris holds a B.S. degree in Finance from San Diego State University, and is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor, and Certified Sustainable Development Professional.
