Lindahl Reed, Inc. (Lindahl Reed) is pleased to announce that Dick Bratcher has joined the company as Director of Environmental Services. Dick has more than 30 years of technical, management, and executive experience with public agencies, utilities, and R&D organizations. He excels at delivering solutions to assess environmental, health, and safety (EHS) risks and develop cost-effective risk management strategies. These strategies and solutions minimize exposure to EHS and financial risks, ensure reputational integrity, capitalize on related opportunities, and enhance EHS and sustainability strategies. He brings executive-level experience implementing and executing programs, creating high-performance teams, and guiding public and private sector clients to formulate organizational vision and strategies. For more than two decades, Dick has specialized in the science, engineering, public policy, and economic aspects of climate change, particularly as it pertains to the electricity and government sectors.
Prior to joining Lindahl Reed, Dick managed a multi-year, $55+ million-dollar contract supporting NASA Ames Research Center’s Safety and Mission Assurance and Environmental Directorates for ERT, Inc. He held senior consulting positions with DNV GL and Tetra Tech where he led climate change and risk management business practices. He was also the Director, Environment Sector, for the Electric Power Research Institute where he was responsible for $40+ million annual research budget focused on climate change research programs, climate change policy, economics, science, and greenhouse gas mitigation. Dick holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering and a master’s degree in environmental chemistry, both from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
