Lindahl Reed, Inc. (Lindahl Reed) is pleased to announce that Ed Singleton has joined the company as our Senior Wildland Fire Services Manager. Ed has more than 40 years of experience managing and developing federal programs, leading government-wide sourcing and technical initiatives, and executing federally funded projects for defense and civilian agencies. He is a recognized expert in wildfire management, fire management training and capacity building, multi-agency coordination, accident investigation, and cost review and apportionment. Ed will lead Lindahl Reed’s Wildland Fire Management Services team and will develop relationships with new customers and expand relationships with existing customers. He will provide technical guidance and overall resource management of wildland fire management resources, including personnel planning, client communication, and project management.
Prior to joining Lindahl Reed, Ed held various positions with BLM ranging from a firefighter to District Manager. In this capacity, he was responsible for planning and implementation of programs in the areas of forestry, natural resources, fire science and ecology, and risk management and mitigation. He is a recognized expert in hazard identification and risk management, fire and fuels management plans, incident review and cost apportionment, interagency large fire cost reviews, and stakeholder engagement and training.
Ed holds an M.A. and B.A. in Education from Texas Tech University and Western New Mexico University, respectively. He has also completed post-graduate courses in range and wildlife ecology from New Mexico State University
