Lindahl Reed was one of three contractors awarded a 5-year blanket purchase agreement (BPA) by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to provide legal support services to the Office of Hearing and Appeals (OHA). On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the CARES Act or the Act) (Pub.L.116-136), as amended, was enacted to provide emergency assistance and health care response for individuals, families, and businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
SBA may review any PPP loan of any size at any time in SBA’s discretion for borrower eligibility, loan amounts, use of proceeds and loan forgiveness amounts. Pursuant to 13 C.F.R. 134.1201, et seq., OHA is responsible for processing and adjudicating appeals of SBA final loan review decisions which set forth SBA’s determination on PPP loan forgiveness.
