Lindahl Reed was awarded a one-year, $1M contract by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), Region 7, to provide fisheries and ecological services in support of the Service’s stewardship responsibilities for protected species, birds, fish, marine mammals, and habitats.
Under this contract, Lindahl Reed supports cross-cutting programs to understand and address complex issues such as: fisheries management; endangered and threatened species; environmental contaminants; habitat protection and restoration; and marine mammal conservation and recovery. We also support the Services’ stewardship responsibilities for
protected species, birds, fish, marine mammals, and habitats. Collectively, these services support the implementation of agency mandates and assist in achieving the objectives of conservation of trust species and their associated habitats.
“Lindahl Reed is driven to make a difference and the work with the USFWS aligns with our corporate mission to create a more sustainable world said Nicole R Hough, Lindahl Reed’s President and Chief Executive Officer. We are thrilled to be selected to support the USFWS‘s fisheries, mammal, and aquatic conservation goals and to help connect the lands and waters in
Alaska to support diverse, self-sustaining populations of wildlife.”
