Lindahl Reed was awarded a three (3) year contract by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), Fisheries and Ecological Services Division in Region 7, Alaska, to support research and analyses of the impact of industrial activities on polar bears in the Arctic Region. The research conducted under this contract is crucial for informing decision makers on polar bears and population risk in relation to human and oil and gas development in the region. The support includes field work, data analysis, and preparation of manuscripts suitable for publication in peer review journals.
“This research project directly supports our mission to make the world safer, healthier and more sustainable.” said Nicole R Hough, Lindahl Reed’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited to be selected for this important scientific research project and to help provide critical insights to support decision making in the arctic region.”
