Lindahl Reed is pleased to announce that it has been certified as a participant in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program. The 8(a) Business Development Program is a nine-year program which provides specialized business training, counseling, marketing, and technical assistance to small, disadvantaged businesses. Participants in the program are eligible for sole source contract awards, participation in limited competition opportunities, and benefit from business development assistance from the SBA. Key features of the program include:
- Ability to receive sole-source contracts from federal agencies
- $4 million for goods and services
- $6.5 million for construction
- Limited competition opportunities set aside for 8(a) program participants
- Establishment of Joint Venture agreements to pursue opportunities
- Opportunity to participate in the SBA Mentor – Protégé Program
