Lindahl Reed is pleased to announce it has been awarded a Seaport Next Generation (NxG) prime contract to provide engineering and program management services across the Department of Navy enterprise. Seaport NxG is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle. Task orders issued under this contract vehicle will support Naval Sea Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, the Office of Naval Research, and the U.S. Marine Corps. The award includes a 2.5-year base period of performance with an additional five-year ordering option period, allowing orders to be place under Seaport NxG through January 1, 2029. The contract has an estimated $5 billion in procured services annually under competitive task order awards.
The engineering and program management services span the entire spectrum of mission areas and technical capabilities to support the Department of the Navy ordering activities. The engineering services include: engineering, system engineering and safety and process engineering support; research and development; and, software engineering, development, programming, and network support. The program management services include: financial analysis and budget support; quality assurance; and computer systems analysts support.
