Lindahl Reed, Inc. (Lindahl Reed), a leading provider of technical, scientific, and engineering services to support the U.S. clean energy transition, is pleased to announce that Jeff Baker has joined our team as Senior Vice President, Federal Markets.
Jeff will provide leadership, support operations, and lead the development and execution of the strategic direction of Lindahl Reed’s Department of Energy (DOE) practice and clean energy transition support services. This includes management of the DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) 5-year, $300 million Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Support (SETS) Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The SETS BPA provides scientists, engineers, and technical resources to support EERE’s $3.5 billion clean energy Research, Development, Demonstration, and Deployment program.
Jeff is a nationally recognized leader with 37 years of federal and industrial experience in the DOE clean energy, science, environmental management, and national security markets. He brings 28 years of DOE National Laboratory management experience in the Offices of the Under Secretary of Energy, the Assistant Secretary for EERE, and the Golden Field Office. Jeff was DOE’s Director of Laboratory Operations, responsible for management of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Management and Operating contract. Under his leadership, DOE invested $450 million of capital funding at NREL to build a sustainable campus, including the award-winning Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum and net-zero energy Research Support Facility.
